For out of town guests, O'Hare or Midway would both be fine airport options given our event locations. If possible, we would recommend using Uber in lieu of renting a car to avoid potential hassles around parking or traffic.

CHICAGO MARATHON WEEKEND

This weekend coincides with the Chicago Marathon on Sunday morning. We would recommend booking hotels early as demand will be high and prices will increase as we get closer to the event date.

For guests staying in the Downtown Loop and planning to fly out Sunday morning, be sure to check the Marathon route before booking. You will likely want to build in buffer time to avoid travel delays – or even better, stay a bit longer to join us for Sunday brunch and cheer on the runners.

Our Story

Curt was new to Chicago and Trev was newly single. A swipe right, a nudge from friends, and a few twists of fate led to a first date. The chemistry was there from the beginning and one date quickly became two, then three... and pretty soon it was end game vibes.

The past few years have been a blur of many happy times.... learning our respective histories and quirks, meeting friends and family, the pleasures of DINK travel, surviving moving day meltdowns, and countless amounts of dog hair, twitter memes, martini shaking, and pop girl discourse. We’re overflowing with gratitude — for the timing that brought us together, for every adventure we’ve shared, and for the incredible gift of spending forever side by side. It still amazes us how we never get sick of spending most every day together. :)

As we started planning this party, it became clear that our friends and family were the biggest reason we were even excited to have a wedding.

Bringing our lives together has brought us so much joy. A lot of that stems from you, the people who have welcomed us both with open arms and helped us build so many amazing memories in such a short time. All we want is to celebrate the start of this new chapter in life with the people we love most, throw a blowout bash to remember, and create even more great memories together. LFG!
